SUSTAINABILITY
Ethical practices are at the core of of our company and we apply them in all that we do and towards everyone we work with. At the same time we strive towards sustainability through the fabrics that we use, the prints that we produce, the pattern making and cutting processes as well as our production practices.
We want our clothes to be something that a person loves to wear because of how it makes them feel. In order to do that we design pieces that are long lasting and will become much loved wardrobe staples.
We are not into mass-production, so we produce small quantities of each garment to minimise wastage. After the initially produced garments are sold, we minimise wastage by making any further sales to order. This allows for greater flexibility in our design and range. Each piece of fabric is cut individually and by hand. This ensures consistency in fit and quality, especially when working with a fabric that moves and is tricky to cut (like Silk).
Our pattern cutting and printing practices are done with care to reduce waste. We also work with eco pigments for printing, which enables a low use of water and energy, paired with non-toxic chemicals and biodegradable make-up make, it is currently the most environmental friendly option.
